Lead Counsel, AI Partnerships

Meta is seeking a Lead Counsel to work on our Artificial Intelligence (AI) Partnerships legal team. This role's primary function is to support a range of technology transactions focused on Meta's AI products and services for the government sector. You will join a growing team of technology deal lawyers working in an exciting space.J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) Active membership in at least one US state bar and eligibility to obtain registered in-house counsel status 5+ years of legal experience as a practicing attorney, including at a law firm and/or in-house experience with internet or technology companies Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement and other government contracting regulations and processes, including OTAs and CRADAs Experience advising businesses on working with the government sector, including strategies for marketing to agencies and securing contracts Experience drafting complex technology licensing agreements and technology transaction counseling Experience working proactively and reliably under tight timeframes Experience collaborating at all levels of the business across functions, including leadership Experience in government service Experience supporting emerging technologies in the government space Familiarity with intellectual property (patent, trade secret, copyright) issues in government contracts
