Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cost and Information Analyst with a specialization in SQL, Tableau, and ERP implementations, particularly within a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing our business processes. This includes enhancing data analysis capabilities, developing insightful visualization tools, and implementing effective business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Data Analysis: Conduct sophisticated data analysis using SQL. Provide comprehensive support in business decision-making by interpreting complex data sets.

  • Data Visualization & Reporting: Develop dynamic reports and dashboards using Tableau. Deliver actionable insights that aid various stakeholders like material managers, cost analysts, and general managers in understanding where opportunities may exist.

  • Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current reporting systems or processes. Propose and implement innovative solutions and improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze pertinent business and industry data, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), reports, and other crucial metrics.

  • Standardization: Implement standardized reporting and tool usage across all national operations to ensure consistency and efficiency.

  • Innovation and Problem-Solving: Demonstrate resourcefulness in addressing challenges. Devise and implement creative solutions to complex problems.

  • Adaptability: Showcase flexibility in a dynamic work environment. Adapt to evolving business needs and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Experience: Proven track record as a Business Analyst within the manufacturing sector.

  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in SQL and Tableau for high-level data analysis and visualization. Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.

  • Microsoft Office Mastery: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Multitasking and Time Management: Exceptional ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently under tight deadlines.

  • Manufacturing Knowledge: Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and environments.

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
