Lead Controls Engineer

Hiring for a Lead Controls Engineer for an Integrator in Sterling Heights. Will be doing programming, startup and debug of automotive conveyor systems Project customer is Ford, for the new Blue Oval City plant in Tennessee This is a Lead position.

Will be guiding Jr. Engineers in the field, answering questions, helping direct them for daily tasks. Studio 5000 PLC Programming, debug and troubleshooting This is a large project, $47million in size Will be traveling to Ford in Tennessee starting Q3 of 2024.

Will be going back and forth between Michigan and the customer site in TN for the next 2 years. Full time, long term role Required Qualifications: 5 years of Controls Engineering experience, cradle to grave project work for an integrator 5 years of automotive conveyor experience from an automation integrator 5 years of PLC programming within Studio 5000 Experience as a Lead, guiding and directing Jr. Engineers Ability to travel Additional Information:

Contract-to-Direct hire opportunity $40-$50/hour while on contract depending on experience. 1.5x for OT (hours past 40 for the week).
