Role: Lead Contracts and Risk Management Analyst
"This is a critical role within the FICO Procurement team reporting to Procurement Systems and Governance, Sr. Manager. Currently, the role is an individual contributor. However, the role will partner with key business units to drive supply continuity, reduced lead times and deliver leveraged value/savings aligned with the business needs," -Sr Manager
What You'll Contribute
Exhibit a blend of capabilities, including that of a Business Analyst, Project Manager, User Acceptance Tester, and Contract Administrator.
Support key initiatives such as Source to Pay rollout, Business Intelligence, Contingent Worker Program, process efficiencies and controls to ensure adherence to procurement governance.
Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders including Procurement Leadership, Finance, Accounts Payables, Internal Audit, Cyber Security, Data Privacy, and Legal teams.
Assist in managing the technology lifecycle of a flagship third-party risk management system.
Act as a bridge between the cross-domain functions like Cyber Security, Data Privacy, and Business Continuity to administer the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) workflow from start-to-finish.
Track workflow progress and present weekly status reports to TPRM Program Team and System and Governance Sr. Manager.
Gain in-depth knowledge of risk management policies, processes, risk scoring, rules, and the management platform's technical capabilities.
Develop a familiarity with key security, regulatory, and data privacy frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001:2013, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Plan and perform effective System and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of system migrations and changes within TPRM solution to translate end user needs into solutions and obtain error free system implementations.
Assist with design and configuration enhancements in the TPRM platform in response to domain requirements.
Negotiate contracts for clients through direct contact with the client, their legal representatives, and the counterparty.
Performs contract management functions including routing contracts for review/approval in contract management system, loading contracts in repository, and overall document management.
Exercises appropriate signature authority and manages contract execution process.
Support Category Managers to drive and deliver cost savings opportunities aligned with organization commitments.
Assist in the development of vendor management strategy to reduce and consolidate global vendors.
Attends vendor meetings as required and may assist with RFI/RFP preparation activities.
What We're Seeking
Bachelors degree in related field required. MBA or higher-level degree a plus.
Experience working in a Procurement role with the following experience:
Customer Service and Team Building: Has customer focused mindset; engenders support and trust from all levels of the organization.
Functional Procurement Knowledge: Understanding of category framework and general procurement principles. Worked in sourcing and/or category management roles and is familiar with deal structures including contract terms. Skilled at evaluating and refining contract language. Previous contract drafting, redlining and negotiation experience or related experience. Demonstrable knowledge of, or aptitude to learn, current policies and guidelines that affect contracts, pricing, etc.
Project Management: Administers, tracks, and coordinates transactional activities required in the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) process and lead point of contact for due diligence intake and workflow. Provides guidance and interpretation of third-party risk information and intelligence while recognizing when appropriate to escalate to SME's.
Data Mining and Management: Ability to centralize, structure, and analyze financial and operational data from disparate sources to detect issues, key trends, and develop visualizations and dashboard to tell a clear story to management.
Business Intelligence: Designs and builds new standard reports using available source systems and business intelligence tooling as new needs arise. Proactively identifies opportunities to create new standard reports and operational dashboards to address needs, improve efficiency, and enable ease of access and self-service use. This includes proficient use of Microsoft Office (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Workday/Scout CLM, Docusign).
Systems Self-Starter: Willingness and ability to quickly learn how to become a 'power user' of the available software tools.
Possess the ability to deal effectively with pressure, multiple tasks, deadlines and rapidly changing priorities.
Firm written and verbal communication skills to ensure effective communication with business and technology partners.
Demonstrates adaptability for working in culturally diverse environments within a global team.
Experience using Tableau and Oracle EBS is preferred.
Experience with ETL tools and integration preferred.
Awareness of local and global data privacy regulations and recent changes preferred.
Ability and willingness to travel occasionally.
