SUMMARY - Under direct supervision of the concessions supervisor the lead concessions runner position is responsible for stocking and rotating inventory at all locations as needed before, during and/or after events; building and installing portable stand locations.
All other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

  • Build and install portable stand locations

  • Tear down and cleanup of concession stands after events

  • Transporting needed product from warehouse to stands

  • Rotates inventory practicing First In First Out (FIFO) * Maintains inventory and stock of all supplies at all locations before and during events

  • Assist inventory process under the guidance of the Warehouse or Concessions Manager

  • Assist in supervision of other Concessions runners

  • Maintains rules and regulations of Health and Sanitation Laws, as well as safe transfer/storage procedures

  • Maintains and organized and clean storeroom

  • Cleans and organizes equipment and stands as needed

  • Occasional use of pallet jacks and/or forklift as needed SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has limited supervisory responsibilities for employees in the Food & Beverage department.
    This position carries out any temporarily assigned supervisory responsibilities in accordance with SMG's policies and applicable laws.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE * High School Diploma or GED Certification required

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in similar position CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS * No certifications are required COMPUTER SKILLS * Basic computer skills and knowledge needed to set up and install registers including connecting network cables, etc.
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

  • Ability to communicate and execute instructions via radio.

  • Ability to follow/read/understand building diagrams & maps.

  • Constant standing and walking

  • Repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for inspection or electrical systems and electrical repairs

  • Ability to distinguish colors and color-coded wires.

  • Hearing sufficient to clearly hear voices, alarms, bells and horns.

The customer base will comprise of residential dealers, commercial HVAC owners, self-servicing end users, and commercial contractors. Only local candidates will be considered. DUTIES * Be the lead at the counter and ensure that all employees are ascertaining customers' needs/determine parts/equipment solutions. * Lead team members to properly identify customers' needs, estimate, design and accurately quote projects. * Conduct sales of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies over the phone and over the counter. * Orders required parts, equipment, and supplies. * Answers customer calls and identifies equipment, parts, and supplies. * Coordinates product promotions. * Receives and processes customer orders for equipment, parts, and supplies. * Responds to customer's inquiries, questions, or complaints regarding products or services. * Responsible for warranty administration on all parts. * Records changes in inventory status by completing paperwork and updating the database as necessary. * Maintains supplies inventory by recording quantities used and determining supplies needed. * Responds to literature requests from customers. * Possesses knowledge of the Trane product line to be able to demonstrate and discuss with customers. * Keep the showroom, neat, stocked, and updated as new products are added. * Receive stock into inventory as it arrives. * Proactively sell additional equipment, parts, and supplies when taking orders. * Maintain acceptable transaction volumes and dollar values as determined by Sales Manager. * Cooperate with warehouse personnel in dispositioning and preparing paperwork for returned and/or warranted the product. * Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required and have reliable transportation. * Process direct report timesheets * Ensure vacation scheduled don't compromise buisness necessity * Attend monthly meetings with management to provide status updates * Other activities that may arise, as directed by Supervisor or Manager. QUALIFICATIONS * Excellent customer service skills * The ability to lead other employees on the counter and be customer service ambasador. * Excellent organizational and communication skills. * Superior verbal and written communication skills. * Strong computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment including Word, Excel. * Ethical * Goal oriented. * Strong presentation skills and appropriate personal appearance. Education and/or Experience Required: High School Diploma or equivalent and or three to five years HVAC related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience maintaining a large base of SKU items. Experience as a lead or experience with direct reports. Reliable transportation.
