Lead CNC Machinist

Salary: $58,240 or more based on experience.

As the Lead CNC Machinist, you will mentor and train a team of CNC machinists while setting up and operating various CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders. You will interpret and work from engineering drawings and blueprints, program and adjust machine parameters for precision and quality, and monitor machine operations to make necessary adjustments. Additionally, you'll conduct quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet industry standards, maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety guidelines, and collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong portfolio of machining projects

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train and guide a team

• Proficiency in CNC machine setup, operation, and programming

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-precision parts

• Knowledge of various metal materials and machining tools

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNC machining certification is a plus
