The US Intermediary team of T. Rowe Price is working on Cloud Modernization, Marketing Automation, and enhancing the capabilities of Business Intelligence. In this role you will be supporting the cloud and on premise infrastructure. You will be coordinating with enterprise teams and guiding development teams with architecture, security, and operational considerations. You will work with technologies such as AWS, Adobe Experience Manager, Terraform, Vault, Tableau, Alteryx, and Snowflake.

The Lead Systems Administrator provides technical leadership, software support and technical guidance in support of business critical systems. This position assists in the implementation and support of services , security, and architectures to provide solutions that are most appropriate for meeting specific application and/or business requirements. The ultimate implementation is based upon leveraging those technologies that are readily available to meet application availability and performance objectives.

The implementation of these solutions includes providing comparative analysis from both an operational and architectural perspective. This analysis is used to assist management in developing formal recommendations.

In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining a high-level perspective on the day-to-day operational aspects of the department. This perspective produces the ability to identify and recommend efficiencies that can be built into existing processes and procedures. It also includes understanding application risk and working jointly with application development and security to mitigate any exposures. These day-to-day tasks include the development and employment of monitoring techniques to maintain a proactive application/systems management approach.

Evaluates, recommends, and leads implementation of middleware services directly related to new identity and access management solutions in support of practical cross-platform security systems that provide value for the business. Provides comparative analysis from both an operational and architectural perspective to assist management in developing formal recommendations for Senior Technology leadership. Creates operational support documents, develops and documents implementation plans, and develops and documents processes for others to manage the solution (where applicable); participates in the implementation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/BA degree and 4+ years of related work experience, or Associate degree and 6 years related work experience, or High School diploma/equivalent and 8 years related work experience required

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team environment

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction; self starter/self motivated

  • Adaptable and able to learn quickly

  • Systems integration experience

  • Systems development with either systems administration or application integration background

  • UNIX, shell scripting/ PERL, basic system admin

  • SSL, HTTP, LDAP, and TCP/IP networking

  • Java/J2EE, JavaScript

  • SQL experience

  • Technical writing experience

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree in Technology or Computer Science related field with 7 plus years of experience preferred

  • LDAP Directory programming, administration experience preferred

  • PVCS experience preferred

  • WebSphere experience preferred

  • Basic database skills, SQL experience preferred

  • Application and systems security experience preferred

  • PKI/X509 Certificates experience preferred

  • Federated Identities experience preferred

  • Experience Linux/ Systems engineer/DevOps

  • Experience with Scripting/Automation with Ansible, Chef or Puppet

  • Experience with Security Engineering

  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline builds (Jenkins/GITLab).

  • Experience with deployment tools such as Ant, Maven or Gradle

  • Experience with Docker / Kubernetes containerization

  • Experience with AWS

  • Experience with HashiCorp Tools Vault and Terraform.

  • Experience with BI tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and Snowflake

OVERVIEW The Sr. Infrastructure Ops Analyst, Cloud Identity Management is responsible for management of our Associate facing Identity and Directory service platforms. This includes engineering and operation related activities for cloud-based platforms with emphasis on Azure Active Directory and AWS services. The incumbent has expert knowledge on AuthZ/AuthN standards and technologies including ADFS 4.0, SAML 2.0, OAUTH2, OpenID, JWT, Kerberos and LDAP. Additionally, this position is responsible for major initiatives including; vendor federations, SSO integrations, Identity synchronization, Identity protection and AD Domain/Network services specifically DNS, DHCP and SFTP/FTPS. The candidate should have a demonstrated history of technical consulting on complex projects, creating automated solutions, In-depth knowledge of PowerShell and Splunk, operational best practices for change and incident management, SLAs for both availably and delivery time to customers. A concerted focus on customer-service and on ensuring stability in this space is necessary in order to ensure success. ROLE SUMMARY AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * The Infrastructure Operations Analyst provides solutions and operations for Identity and Directory services for our on-premises and cloud environments. * The Infrastructure Operations Analyst maintains oversight and security across all Active domains and trusts * Responsible for swiftly resolving disruptions to technology services to minimize user impacts and maintain service levels * Reviews the production readiness of technology solution implementations and application deployments and coordinates next steps across the involved teams * Oversees and provides guidance on analysis of performance trends and actions being taken for preventing potential impacts * Possesses strong understanding of the tech and asset management industries and internal business units to enable navigation of key stakeholders and understanding of impact * Effectively uses logic as a problem-solving tool * Configures, installs, administers, operates, upgrades, monitors, sustains, and supports existing data centers, network, hardware, software, processes, applications, systems, databases, desktops, peripherals, and other related infrastructure.
