The Lead Cloud Architect provides technical expertise, strategic planning, and recommendations to executive management for new cloud technologies in response to business initiatives. The role requires leadership, but also being visionary, an evangelist and strategist.

These characteristics are crucial for the architect to affect change, articulate and promote a vision, conceptualize a solution, evaluate approaches, and provide strategic advice to all technical teams. The Lead Cloud Architect works with internal partners to evaluate and design solutions for customer requirements, applies complex design principles and methodology to ensure optimal use of resources and technology without jeopardizing the enterprise infrastructure.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.

• In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

• This position requires 7+ years successfully supporting an Enterprise scale cloud environment and must be knowledgeable at the expert level of current technologies including Azure IaaS and PaaS offerings.
