Lead Childcare Provider For Little Bulldogs Childcare

Job Summary:

Lead provider is responsible for providing care for children up to approximately four years of age. Work hours will be 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., 185 days per school year (185 care days correspond with teacher contract). Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Manage and direct the duties and responsibilities of all Little Bulldog Childcare staff members.

• Ensure compliance of all childcare center requirements as a Legally Licensed Exempt Provider (LLEP)

• Keep current and accurate record of all information necessary to comply with the requirements of a LLEP.

• Maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment.

• Help children with basic needs such as diaper changing, feeding, etc.

• Address basic interpersonal skills such as sharing, taking turns and asking permission.

• Manage busy environment and provide the structure and discipline required for successful childcare facility.

• Direct other staff members to create an optimal care environment.

• Provide helpful feedback to parents and guardians on a regular or as-needed basis.

• Maintain a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere for staff and children.

• Perform childcare related duties alongside other childcare providers.

Qualifications:

• Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential preferred

• First Aid/CPR Certification

• Experience in a childcare setting preferred

• Excellent communication and organization skills

This is a Grade 3 position on the Classified Pay Scale.

Salary and benefits will be determined by the Classified Compensation and Benefits Package.
