Lead Carpenter

Job Description Job Description AWS Carpenter Contractors, a premier provider of custom woodwork and millwork installations, is looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team. This role is ideal for a skilled craftsman who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and has experience leading a crew in the field.

Key Responsibilities: • Perform and oversee custom millwork and finish carpentry installations, ensuring precision and craftsmanship. • Lead and mentor a team of carpenters, delegating tasks and ensuring efficiency on job sites. • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications. • Work closely with project managers and foremen to coordinate installation schedules and job site logistics. • Ensure all work meets company quality standards and adheres to safety regulations. • Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as needed. • Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness. Requirements: • Experience in millwork, finish carpentry, and custom woodwork installations. • Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Must pass a background check. • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions. • Availability for overtime and some weekends as needed.
