Position Overview:
The Lead Cafe' Ambassador is responsible for supporting operations at Bottle Cap Café, delivering exceptional guest experience, best-in-class health & safety standards, and maintaining revenue and profit performance. This position provides leadership to all Café Ambassadors in absence of the Associate Manager, leading both Front and Back of House operations. The Bottle Cap Café is located in Pemberton Place, serving guests of the iconic World of Coca-Cola, as well as the Georgia Aquarium and National Center for Civil and Human Rights.
Position Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 40 hours/week
Candidates must have open availability to work on weekdays, weekends and holidays. Shifts will vary and be assigned between the hours of 7:00 am and 9:00 pm based on the business needs (could be as late as midnight when we host corporate events).
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Supports the overall operational functions of the Bottle Cap Café
Adheres to the opening and closing checklists/SOPs and ensures Café standards are met for the duration of the shift
Refers all duties which require manager approval to the appropriate Leader on Duty
Assists Ambassadors with POS transactions where appropriate, including refunds, returns and service recoveries
Trains and retrains Ambassadors on Standard Operating Procedures
Obtains, counts, and deposits cash and coins as needed during the assigned shift
Acts as a Brand Ambassador by consistently modeling and upholding The Coca-Cola Company Core Values while driving brand awareness and encouraging lasting customer relationships
Monitors guests and surrounding areas for potential safety concerns or hazards and adheres to World of Coca-Cola safety procedures
Maintains a positive attitude and welcoming demeanor while in the presence of guests and ambassadors
Interacts with guests with differing abilities in a respectful and appropriate manner, enforcing inclusion training provided by The Coca-Cola Company and World of Coca-Cola
Handles guest situations in a professional, quick, thorough, and respectful manner
Completes all required training as assigned regarding Life Safety, Evacuation, PCI Compliance, and ADA
Handles cash and credit transactions successfully in a fast-paced environment
Other duties as assigned by World of Coca-Cola Leadership Team

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Continuous walking and standing for prolonged periods (6-8 hours).
Regularly balance, stoop, kneel and crouch.
Ability to climb/navigate multiple levels of the building via stairs or elevator.
Continuous exposure to outside temperatures, including extreme heat or cold.
Ability to work in noisy, crowded, and tight spaces.
Education & Experience Requirements:
High school diploma
Must be able to successfully pass drug screen, and criminal background check
At least one year experience in foodservice operations within the hospitality and/or customer service industry
Familiarity with computerized point of sale systems and inventory software
Experience delivering best-in-class guest experience
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Able to adapt to change, work effectively under pressure, and produce accurate results in a
fast-paced environment
Must be detailed oriented and have practical multitasking skills
Maintain high standards in guest service
Must maintain a professional appearance and style at all times
