About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant on the Conduct Initiatives Change Management (CICM) team to support Change Management for Sales Practices Conduct Management (SPCM). This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and lead a critical process that is expanding in scope to deliver greater value for the organization.

The Conduct Initiatives team is responsible for managing the portfolio of change across SPCM. We partner with Conduct Management leadership to provide strategic leadership, consultation, planning, and prioritization of large-scale initiatives and special projects. The team provides strategic program management, leadership, and execution on transformative initiatives across Conduct Management.

Key activities include:

  • Managing a process to intake, prioritize, and plan and gain approval for requested changes.

  • Maintain a calendar of change in order to coordinate capacity across SPCM resources and overall budgets across the portfolio.

  • Provide execution support for large scale, complex projects/initiatives.

  • Facilitate portfolio progress reporting for SPCM leadership team.

  • Ensure a smooth transition from initiative execution to business as usual.

The position requires a leader possessing strong relationship management, consulting, influencing, and execution skills. Keys to success include a sense of urgency, personal accountability for achievement, passion for change management, partnerships, change consultation, and process improvement.

In this role, you will:

  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans

  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives

  • Lead team meetings and approval forums to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans.

  • Ensure compliance with the Enterprise Change Management policy.

  • Support new functions for CICM processes (e.g., consultation, prioritization, facilitating senior leader approvals forums, capacity planning and calendaring change).

  • Lead workstreams that will support the organization's transition from current state to future state (e.g., implementation of capacity planning and calendaring, materials review and approval process).

  • Provide change management support to business functions across the SPCM organization, including Technology, Governance and Controls, Operations, Policies, Procedures, Reporting and lead onboarding of new business functions (e.g., Loudspeaker).

  • Exercise independence in all work efforts and decision making with ability to lead others and self through root cause analysis to identify a problem statement, analyze trends and associated risks/benefits to possible solutions, come to reasonable recommendations through partnership and consensus building across business functions, and present findings for decision and approval to all levels of leadership.

  • During consultation, leverage relationship skills to influence behavior change across all levels of the organization and guide difficult discussions to

decisions related to prioritization, and capacity and calendar planning.

  • Influence partner behavior through delivery of components of future state change management processes.

  • Consult with leaders and functional area sponsors on how to navigate the SPCM intake and prioritize process, define change holistically including scope and cross organization impacts, determine the appropriate path, use various tools and Center for Change, and determine change materiality

  • Facilitate user and partner training needs (one-on-one or group)

  • Provide contacts across the organization to support the assessment of change impacts

  • Manage database of various contacts and forum members

  • Consult with functional area sponsors on preparing and presenting necessary materials (e.g. PowerPoint, business case, problem statement, cost/benefit analysis, etc.) presented to review/approval forums

  • Validate sustainability activities are complete post implementation

  • Serve as back up for CICM process administration, Center for Change, and reporting functions

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the Sales Practices Conduct Management (SPCM) department at Wells Fargo and knowledge of the business.

  • Experience working with strategic planning, project management, impact assessment, change management, and capacity planning

  • Experience with policy and process adherence

  • Experience providing consultation, partnering and relationship building with senior leaders and other business lines

  • Experience leading change management in a large-scale, matrix environment

  • Experience managing a change prioritization and/or capacity management process

  • Experience with project management, execution, and implementation in a matrix managed environment

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience

  • Experience providing reporting and updates to senior-level management

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to facilitate and lead discussions via Teams that result in consensus and buy-in

  • Intermediate MS Office experience including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams

  • SharePoint navigations experience

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work on-site at one of the stated locations on the job opening

  • Ability to work a hybrid work schedule - 3 days in office / 2 days remote
