CACI has an opening for a Lead Business and Organizational Leadership Coach in our Portsmouth, VA location. The individual will serve as a coach and assist leaders, managers, and supervisors to accelerate their leadership development in order to improve individual and team performance. The lead coach will help assigned NNSY coachees improve their emotional intelligence and coaching competency through structured coaching interactions. In addition, this individual will serve as the immediate supervisor and performance manager for up to ten (10) leadership coaches.
Duties include retrieving, interpreting and reporting relevant performance data and metrics, incorporating strong problem-solving and systems-thinking abilities. Daily interactions with coached individuals will include: active listening and providing constructive feedback; resolving conflicts; promoting work group engagement and accountability; meeting facilitation; interviewing; training; and delivering oral and written reports. Work will be conducted individually and as part of a team.
The work will be performed outdoors, shipboard, in a production shop, or in as office environment. At times, the coach will be tasked with climbing ladders and accessing constrained spaces.
What You'll Get to Do:
Lead, mentor, support, and care for the coaching team at their Shipyard
Act as the conduit for information and guidance for the coaching team at NNSY
Set up the coaches to execute the approved Coaching Methodology in their assigned areas of responsibility
Co-create individualized development plans with their assigned coaches and support completion of these plans
Model coaching best practices by strategically coaching specific Shipyard leaders
Supervise and hold coaches accountable for performance

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Must have at least one year coaching experience within a naval shipyard
Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Must have seven - nine years of relevant coaching experience in organizational development, with at least one year coaching in a naval shipyard
Lead leadership or process and performance improvement.
Must have outstanding interpersonal skills.
Must have strong problem-solving and people development abilities.
Must be able to work independently in an active industrial environment. This includes the ability to climb ladders and access constrained spaces.
Must have Lead experience
The candidate must have a current Secret Clearance.
