Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary business-facing liaison for Global Supply Chain Planning functions. Develop and maintain business partnerships to support the enhancement and global delivery of Advanced Planning IT solutions. Ensure quality delivery of IT projects and smooth transition to production support.

  • Maintain effective knowledge of Supply Chain processes, specifically Planning & Advanced Planning capabilities, as well as thorough awareness of trends and developments of emerging technologies, evaluating all for viability and benefit to organization.

  • Work with the business to understand challenges and weigh strategic considerations. Compare input from various sources to draw insightful conclusions. Employ effective approaches when partnering with third party and internal teams.

  • Provide Supply Chain functional expertise when partnering with business teams to help identify opportunities for improvement both via process re-engineering and from automation through technology.

  • Provide Supply Chain packaged solution and process expertise when connecting IT and business stakeholders and identifying new IT-enabled solutions. Evaluate packaged solution options against IT roadmap, key requirements, and various constraints.

  • Develop business case documentation along with financial justification and ROI for all initiatives. Partner with IT leadership to establish project approach, timeline, and staffing requirements.

  • Ensure development and sign-off of project scope. Adhere to rigorous change management process.

  • Deliver against approved project budgets. Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and reconciliation.

  • Facilitate design sessions with business. Elicit business requirements and translate into high-level technical requirements, use cases, and user acceptance test plans. Identify gaps against packaged solution configurations.

  • Demonstrate skill when documenting current-state and future-state business process and data flows.

  • Lead user acceptance testing and ensure that systems address business needs from users' point of view.

  • Manage multiple projects to coordinate all aspects of implementation and delivery of tasks necessary for successful project execution.

  • Evaluate timing of software version upgrades and facilitate migrations.

  • Partner with onshore and offshore IT Production Support teams to ensure stellar customer service and maintain reliability of GDPS Planning. For any noted production issues, validate root cause analysis and drive complete resolution.

  • Create succinct, executive-level summaries to effectively convey project status and production support remediation to business and IT leadership.

  • Develop formal mentoring and support relationships with junior GIT resources to foster development and continuous learning opportunities.

Experience, Education & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in an IT Business Analyst or related role.

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Supply Chain Planning role is required.

  • Hands on experience working with JDA, Logility, Kinaxis Rapid Response, Oracle ASCP, or similar Demand/ Supply Advanced Planning solutions.

  • Previous large corporate experience within Consumer Goods industry knowledge preferred.

  • Experience with Project Management techniques leading medium to large size projects.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with project and team resources.

  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects involving several departments and external consulting teams.

  • Ability to analyze risks, mitigate liabilities, and negotiate solutions.

  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and work resourcefully with limited supervision.

  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with different functions across GIT and different levels within the organization.

This role includes the responsibility of leading a team of MPMs supporting the execution of production and development contracts with material buys and software development. The MPM Lead also has responsibility for cost and schedule performance, forecasting, and customer interface for all programs in the GNS portfolio. In addition to the execution of existing contracts, the MPM Lead is responsible for all material proposal activity for new development, follow-on production, and requirements of customer change requests. The MPM Lead will serve as a single Supply Chain point of contact to the Program Management, Quality, Engineering, Finance, Business Development, Operations, and Contracts representatives on the program leadership team. This individual will represent the Supply Chain organization on policies, strategies and objectives. The MPM Lead ensures a strong link between the program team and various Supply Chain functions including: Procurement, Subcontracts Management, Supply Chain Operations, Strategic Sourcing, Estimating & Pricing, and Logistics. The MPM Lead is a strong leader with demonstrated project management skills, the ability to lead and develop direct reports, and must be able to influence other functions in a matrixed environment. The candidate for this position must be a self-starter, capable of developing and executing supply chain strategies, achieving organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of management. The candidate must be adaptable and able to quickly adapt plans to changing goals and requirements in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Working collaboratively with other functions and management to ensure appropriate staffing for execution * Creating, managing, and executing material program strategy (MPS) (including Make Buy Where (MBW) strategy) and the material program plan (MPP) to ensure program competitiveness and performance * Overall ownership of the supplier management process (i.e. supplier risk / opportunity management, supplier performance, small business plan development and execution, metrics, collaborative agreements, etc.) * Communication of customer flow through requirements (i.e. FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, quality, warranty, etc.) * Supporting the customer in meeting all program objectives (technical, cost, schedule, etc) * Customer communications and building a robust relationship * Providing comprehensive Supply Chain support for Gates 0-11 activities and ensuring program compliance * Financial management (i.e. budgets, targets, EACs, working capital, material sales forecasts, etc.) for supply chain scope * Leading, tracking, and reporting of an integrated product team responsible for the delivery of procured content from suppliers * Resolving material shipment and / or data issues * Facilitating material contract closure activity Required Skills: * Minimum of 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Finance, Operations (including Production Control), Project Management * Experience leading in an matrix environment * Experience in financial management (budget management, EACs, etc.) * Experience communicating complex concepts or ideas in a clear and concise manner to various levels of internal management * Demonstrated strong analytical and prioritization skills * Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance * U.S. Citizenship U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
