Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches, a proud addition to Banyan Treatment Centers, is currently recruiting a full-time Lead Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team in Lake Worth, FL. This position requires at least 1 year of work experience as a Lead BHT.

Provides guidance on shift as directed by Supervisor and Director. Communicates information to Supervisor and Director. Provides exceptional quality care.

Respects the trials, tribulations, and victories of our client's recovery journey. Observes, monitors and documents client behaviors, in accordance with facility and State requirements. Completes rounds, as instructed by Management, in a timely and accurate manor.

Promotes and support patient safety at all times. Demonstrates an ability to deescalate situations. Provides emotional support for clients by referring them to Clinical.

Communicates with Nursing and Medical if medical assistance is needed. Safely transports clients. Completes urine drug screenings.

Supervises the self-administration of medication, as necessary. Qualifications: 1 year of work experience as a Lead BHT in substance abuse or mental health field. Valid Driver License (Less than 3 points)- MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER (Insurance Requirement) Must be able to pass a Level II background screening through AHCA.

Preferences: Associate degree or Some college. CBHT.
