THE JOB:

As a Lead A/V Technician, you will operate and manage audio-visual equipment, ensuring successful operation and performing necessary maintenance on all audio and visual equipment on the property. Leading a team of technicians, you will address technical issues, maintain equipment inventory, ensure compliance with safety standards, and provide excellent customer service to maintain high-quality audio-visual experiences.

THE STARTING RATE: $36.80/hr

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Lead the installation and operation of all A/V equipment.

  • Assign projects and tasks to A/V technicians.

  • Train new employees on departmental policies and procedures.

  • Perform quality control on A/V equipment and systems, ensuring proper functionality through preventive maintenance.

  • Diagnose and resolve issues with media systems.

  • Repair and maintain electronic equipment, including audio, video, sound, and projection systems.

  • Notify the supervisor of any major equipment repairs needed.

  • Maintain system service information and personal daily work logs.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Prior experience working in an A/V role.

  • Knowledge of Dante and BSS audio systems.

  • Experienced with digital and analog audio/video processing systems, including MATV, CATV, DMX, and DSS signal distribution.

  • Proficient in audio/video signal distribution, sound system design or installation, and control systems like AMX and Crestron.

  • Skilled in Media Matrix Audio systems, large and small screen projection systems, video walls, and kiosks.

  • Flexible in working varied schedules to meet the daily operational needs of a resort.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

  • 4+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience (Working in the A/V field, or equivalent education and experience)
