Lead Automotive Sales/Product Trainer

GP Sandy, a Division of GP Strategies currently is in need of a Lead Automotive Sales/Product Trainer to lead the delivery of training, including product, sales process and vehicle launch training. The trainer will work within a regional territory to deliver training in dealership and in market meetings. The Automotive Sales Trainer will be responsible for establishing credibility with dealership management and customer facing dealer personnel. This requires a well-prepared professional who has a track record of delivering clear, and accurate of information in an engaging and enthusiastic manner. The ideal candidate brings the following skills and experience:
5+ years automotive retail sales and excellent facilitation, presentation and coaching skills.
Prior experience in a lead or management role
A passion for demonstrating and presenting vehicle product information to dealer personnel.
Outstanding ability to initiate and maintain strong working relationships with dealer personnel.
Can bring strong leadership skills and desire to change dealership culture.
Computer literacy, time management and scheduling skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Must be able to satisfy requirements for background check, MVR and drug screen
Must currently reside or be willing to relocate to the Los Angeles metro area. No relocation is offered with this position.
Ability to travel throughout the region up to 75%. Overnight travel required
