The Lead Automation Tester will provide software testing support to ensure that the system(s) tested meets the clients requirements. Testing shall be done to ensure that all requirements identified are tracked through the design process and satisfied through testing.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The Lead Automation Tester will be be responsible to:
Define and create test requirements, test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts for a complex system
Develop automated tests using tool such as HP UFT, HP ALM, Performance Center, etc.
Develop and execute queries to verify and generate test data SQL
Identify areas for process improvements to increase the quality and efficiency of all testing related activities.
Work with the Test Manager to define governance procedures to support the application of Test Automating Frameworks in both waterfall and Agile
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Experience with Linux or other Unix environment.
Experience testing in a Windows environment, testing mobile devices such as Android and IOS
Experience creating test requirements, test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts
Knowledge and experience, which demonstrates the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Understanding and experience with information security requirements and practices.
The ability to recognize and document "good" requirements and to verify that requirements are testable and generate testing objectives
The ability to work with stakeholders to clarify any ambiguous requirements to ensure they are clear, unambiguous, and testable
Experience enhancing automated test scripts using VB Script or other scripting tool
