VIEW JOBS 11/16/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-14T00:00 About the team… Endgame's QA team is seeking a badass QA Automation Architect to design, build and integrate automated testing frameworks, CI workflows and performance tools. The Framework team, which you will be a part of, is responsible for supporting QA and Dev in their quest to be continuously building, testing and communicating the state of product quality. About the role… * Develop, refactor and extend Endgame's testing frameworks to test the Endgame Platform and Sensors. Yes, you will be coding. * Build CI/CD pipelines to facilitate the goal of testing everything, all the time. Then slap those results up on a wall-mounted monitor above the manager's desk so they can admire your handy-work. You're BFFs with Jenkins. * Negotiate the subtleties of deploying code and testing on hardware, VMs, and the cloud. * Solve the puzzles of integration between applications like Splunk, Jenkins, TestRail, Artifactory, Git, and frameworks written in Go, Python, and JavaScript. Doesn't that sound fun!? * Build tools to wreak havoc on our system and then sit back and feel satisfied that you found application weaknesses. Then high five the VP of Engineering and do a small dance of victory. * Interact with product managers and our engineers, to clarify needs, wants and pure fantasies that will never see the light of day. * Provide constructive feedback to Automation Engineers on their PRs because you want your framework to be amazeballs. * Optimize that shit so that it all runs at the speed of light. About you… * Straddle the world of QA Automation and DevOps. * Strong command of a scripting language or three(Python, Ruby, etc.) and the ability to write automated tests, scripts, and tools. * You've built frameworks from the ground up. No, not with one of those big pricy tools that IBM sells you. I'm talking open-source, scrappy, from nothing kind of frameworks. * Thorough knowledge of Linux or Windows with strong knowledge of Bash or PowerShell scripting * Lots of experience with automated build / continuous-integration systems like Jenkins or Chef. Seriously needed. * Comfortable with modern systems development life cycle including agile methodologies. You'll be scrumming with a team. * Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Like, when you get stuck, do you spin endlessly, or do you use your resources wisely? * Interest in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. * Excellent communication skills, a sense of curiosity and the ability to ask lots of questions. Engineering @Endgame Endgame's endpoint protection platform brings certainty to security with the most powerful scope of protections and simplest user experience, ensuring analysts of any skill level can stop targeted attacks before information theft. Endgame unifies prevention, detection, and threat hunting to stop known and unknown attacker behaviors at scale with a single agent. Our workplace is characterized by a high degree of autonomy and flexibility, intellectual engagement, and a competitive compensation structure that rewards performance. We work within a fast-paced, driven, and flexible work environment that allows for both professional growth, as well as unwinding through team events like weekend family brunches, happy hours, and outdoor activities. Endgame values engagement within the tech community. We provide opportunities for open source contributions, speaking at meetups or conferences, and participating in our technical blog. Endgame is proud to be an EEO/AA/Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran employer. We are committed to diversity, inclusion, and innovation in the workplace and encourage all qualified applicants to apply. Endgame is unable to sponsor H1-B or other visas at this time.
