A Lead Associate Operations Trainee is responsible for completing the Lead Associate Operations Training Program (30 days) and learning the business activities of a Lead Associate-Operations.

Description:

As a Lead Associate Operations on a Branch Banking team, you support the Branch Manager and Associates to ensure customer financial transactions are completed accurately and efficiently, while complying with all policies, procedures and regulatory banking requirements. Apply these skills to become a Lead Associate Operations at Chase and help impact the customer banking experience.

Responsibilities:

You'll contribute significantly to the success of your branch by helping with the following:

  • Works with the branch manager to set the tone of the branch environment to provide an exceptional customer experience, and a dynamic and engaging culture

  • Process and assist customers with transactions

  • Introduce customers to your branch team who will build relationships and assist with specialized financial needs

  • Make customers' lives easier by sharing and setting up self-service options to access their accounts 24 hours a day/7 days a week

  • Support the Branch Manager with all aspects of branch operations, including loss control, compliance and audit standards

  • Assist with scheduling as necessary

  • In the absence of the Branch Manager or designated banker, you'll be given responsibility to communicate branch priorities throughout the day

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to make connections, engage and educate customers and refer as appropriate

  • Strong desire and ability to influence, educate and connect team, partners and customers to technology

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and works well in a team environment

  • Demonstrated proficiency in operations and transaction accuracy

  • Minimum one year of branch banking experience preferred; Teller and/or Personal Banker experience is a plus

  • Detail-oriented, organized and ability to multi-task with an ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements

  • Some College level or military equivalent strongly preferred; High school degree, GED or foreign equivalent required

  • Availability to work Branch hours, including weekends and some evenings

The Follow-Up Representative will be responsible for supporting the back-end commercial insurance follow-up function for R1 customer sites across the United States. This person will facilitate maximum revenue for our clients by working with payers to resolve billing issues on insurance claims to ensure prompt payment. Responsibilities: * Work firsthand on actively reviewing patient accounts ensuring claims are accurate and billable. * Identify and resolve claim edits through understanding of billing guidelines and payer requirements. * Proactively fix claim rejection errors and resubmit claims based on payer requirements. * Initiate contact and respond to inquiries from a various external sources. * Comply with all government and third-party payers regulatory mandated requirements for billing and collections. * Answer questions and assist patients in regard to billing issues as needed. * Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information under HIPPA guidelines. * Meet departmental productivity and quality standards in timeframe given upon completion of training. Required Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent experience. * Understanding how to read an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) form. * Computer literacy skills, including Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Office products. * Enhanced communication and customer service skills. * Ability to be self-directed, coupled with exemplary time management skills and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks. Desired Qualifications: * Experience and working knowledge of UB-04 claim forms. * Experience with patient billing editor systems. * Understanding of the entire revenue cycle process. * Knowledge of Revenue and ICD coding language. * 1-2 years of billing experience in a facility and hospital setting. * Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations. Physical Requirements: * See, read, and/or operate computers, telephones, office equipment, documents, labels, including manipulating paper requiring the ability to move fingers and hands. * Remain sitting, standing, or walking for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment. * Frequent interactions with associates, patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require associate to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations. * Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information banding patients, etc. * Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items (over 50 lbs.).
