About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant to join the Information Management Utility (IMU) is an enterprise function within the Chief Operating Office - Shared Services Operations Organization. IMU supports critical information & content services for the Enterprise across the Document Capture, Content Perfection, and Information Records management lifecycle.

The Information Management Utility has eight functional areas: four delivery-focused functions (i.e., production teams) and four teams providing horizontal support and business development.

The Strategy and Business Development Team is one of these horizontal teams and is responsible maximizing and improving the business value, quality, & experience of the Information Management product and service offerings. By taking a more integrative approach to these functions, IMU will be able deliver a more consistent experience for our customers and operate more efficiently.

In this role, you will:

  • Advise line of business and companywide functions on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, and other complex data analysis to maximize profits and asset growth, and minimize operating losses within risk and other operating standards

  • Provide influence and leadership in the identification of new tools and methods to analyze data

  • Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed

  • Provide updates on project logs, monthly budget forecasts, monthly newsletters, and operations reviews

  • Assist managers in building quarterly and annual plans and forecast future market research needs for business partners supported

  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor to staff, interns and external contractors

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong programming skills in SAS (SAS EG, SAS/Base, SAS/STAT, SAS/Macro)

  • Strong Business Intelligence skills

  • Strong Database skills, SQL Skills, Teradata Skills, Oracle Skills

  • Advanced SAS and SQL Programmer: Use advanced DATA step programming statements to solve complex problems; Create and use SAS macros.

  • Experience optimizing SQL queries or optimizing dashboards for queries and reporting

  • Experience in tools such as Alteryx, Python, R etc. would be an added advantage.

  • Experience in Paginated Reporting

  • Strong experience in creating dashboards and reporting using Power BI & PBI Cloud and Tableau

  • Familiar with AI and ML capabilities and its application to business problems

  • Ability to explain what happened, what was done to fix the issue, and what steps are being taken to assure the issue does not happen in the future.

  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.

  • Strong independent thinking skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • 7+ years of experience in Analytics

Job Expectations:

  • Preferred from Banking industry.

  • Preferred Kofax, ICMP or Image Capture platforms

  • Position will require onsite presence in a hybrid capacity at 1801 Park View Dr, Shoreview, MN 55126
