We have a position open to join our AT&T DirecTV and Warner Brothers account team. The AT&T team runs one of Cisco's largest and strategic accounts, with key opportunities in many of the industry's most exciting technology areas: 5G, Next generation IP networks, datacenter, security, video, cloud, collaboration, and Internet of Things.
Who You Are
You have a strong background selling into video service provider customers, executive-level communication, building customer relationships, and partnering with our product development teams aligning them with AT&T's satellite broadcast, over the top and mobile video services. The AT&T team is one of Cisco's largest and strategic accounts, with key opportunities in many of the industry's most exciting technology areas: 5G, Next generation IP networks, datacenter, security, video, cloud, collaboration, and Internet of Things.
Role & Responsibilities
This Senior Account Manager role involves positioning and promoting Cisco's portfolio of IP Core, Edge, Datacenter and Security solutions value proposition linked to AT&T's go to market of their video and media offerings
Development and expansion of opportunities, contract negotiation, creating new and reinforcing existing DirecTV director and executive relationships.
The ideal candidate has experience selling to video and media customers, possesses strategic technical knowledge, and can succeed leading cross functional teams of sales, services, engineering and product development members to win new IP solutions.
This is a great opportunity to apply your sales experience working with great sales team and solutions using today's most innovative IP, datacenter and security portfolio.
Will be responsible for creating demand, qualifying and closing new deals to exceed annual sales quota.
Develop and execute sales strategy and vision to align our current and future portfolio with new customer experiences under development by DTV
Direct customer contact will comprise a major portion of this assignment.
Bachelors - MBA or graduate degree.
8+ years of sales experience with service providers, preferably within the media industry.
Experience with closing large, strategic complex deals.
Strong leadership skills in a large direct, partner led and global teaming environment.
Selling, IP routing, Datacenter, Security and Video solutions.
Developing customer executive relevance and relationships.
Job Location is critical; account manager needs to be in Los Angeles/El Segundo area where customer decision makers are located
