Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider Lead to join the Critical Care team. In this position, the provider will perform mid-level provider supervisory responsibilitiessupporting the Critical Care APP team.
In this role you will:
Provide medical care to patients under the direction of a supervising physician. Examine, evaluate, and treat patients with medical conditions, illness or injuries. Advise patients on the maintenance of good health.
Schedule creation and PTO approval
Financials: tracking and approving CME
Annual Evaluations: compile and submit
New Hire Evaluations
Help develop PIPs when needed
Help with formal 90 day evaluations in Oracle
Leader Rounding every 3 months with direct reports
Unit based education
Email reminders/updates to the teams
Help run/manage staff meetings
Assist with credentialing
Delegate quality team representation
Follow up on meetings & send updates to the team
Hold APP team accountable for quality adherence
Assist with physician interviewing
Discipline and Accountability
Work in conjunction with director on discipline issues
Follow up w APPs on care concerns, RLs, complaints, etc.
Attend Leader as Coach course
Attend New Leader Orientation
Other duties as assigned
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing, Master's degree in Nursing and certified as a nurse practitioner by an accredited certifying body
A graduate from a nationally certified Physician's Assistant Program with current licensure as a Physician's Assistant in the State of Georgia.
Two years related experience.Requires knowledge of research process and the ability to apply it to every day practices.
