About the Opportunity

DMI (Digital Management, LLC.) is looking for a Lead Accounting Analyst to support corporate headquarters in Bethesda, MD.

The Lead Accounting Analyst works within the Accounting Shared Services team. Their primary responsibility is Costpoint project setup and maintenance as well as other ad hoc accounting related functions. The Lead Accounting Analyst will play an integral role in the accounting function within our Finance department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Initial Project setup at award of contract (or with authorization to proceed)

  • Processing contract modifications

  • Creating new charge codes, Project PLC/PLC rates additions and maintenance

  • Employee workforce initial setup and additional charge code access as required

  • Wage Determination setup and maintenance

  • Vendor Setup

  • Collaborating with internal customers to recommend proper project setup to ensure accurate revenue recognition, billing, and cost reporting requirements are met

  • Ensuring Financial Accounting Policies and Processes are met while processing requests

  • Participating in ad hoc audit requests

  • Resolving day to day labor errors due to improper time charging and/or setup issues

  • Working with the assigned Financial Analyst to resolve revenue issues

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting and 5-8 years minimum work experience

Required Skills/Certifications:

  • Costpoint 7.1 experience

  • Prior experience with Costpoint Project Setup and/or Billing modules is preferred

  • Government Contract Accounting/Finance work experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field

Min. Citizenship Status Required: U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder

Must have the ability and confidence to make timely decisions, Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, customers, and senior management. Must be able to accept critical feedback and apply constructively. Data analysis / DBM technician must have at least 2 years of recent analysis / DBM experience. Develops reports as necessary for all functions pertaining to aircraft maintenance organization. Experienced in troubleshooting aircraft maintenance data collection systems. Recent experience with F-16 maintenance organization preferred. Must be able to work without assistance. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS/INFO: Candidate must have held a USAF skill level 5 (or equivalent) in a maintenance related career field. Candidate must have at least 4 years' recent experience with fighter aircraft maintenance activities. Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Must have or be able to rapidly secure and maintain a US DOD secret clearance. Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead. This position may require frequent standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting. May be required to perform additional duties as reasonably assigned. * Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
