Liberty Healthcare is opening a new 24-bed intermediate care facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This facility will provide specialized residential treatment services for children and adolescents who have an intellectual disability and significant behavioral support needs or a co-occurring mental illness.

Liberty is now hiring for a newly-created full-time LCSW position. This position will serve as integral member of the program's clinical staff and be responsible for the following:

  • Delivering high quality clinical social work services children and adolescents

  • Effectively managing a caseload of up to 24 clients

  • Providing intake, case management and discharge planning services

  • Serving as a contributing member of a multidisciplinary treatment team

  • Collaborating with a wide array of clinical and ancillary professionals

  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, families and guardians

  • Interacting with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with community providers, agencies and resources

  • Accurately documenting client care, progress and developments

  • Completing admissions and discharge summaries, court documents and various reports

Well-qualified candidates for this position will possess the following qualifications:

  • Professionally licensed in Oklahoma as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

  • Master's Degree in Social Work

  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical social work experience, ideally with people who have intellectual disabilities, mental illness, and/or behavioral challenges

The licensed therapist will be available for walk-in appointments and crisis intervention as necessary. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Provides a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment and treatment plan for each patient. * Provides individual, group and family therapy to treat identified mental health /behavioral health needs. * Consults and collaborates effectively with parents, guardians, care team members, teachers and administrators regarding patients concerns and needs. * Participates in professional development activities to improve knowledge and skills. * Adheres to laws, policies, procedures and ethical standards of the mental health profession and the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics. * Coordinates, prepares and maintains required charting and documentation in a timely manner. * Adheres to all patient confidentiality requirements and standards, as well as Mandatory Reporting requirements. * Participates in regular supervision activities, as determined by supervisor. * Collaborates with rest of Behavioral Health team regarding growth of department.
