The Behavioral Health Supervisor monitors the quality of counseling services. In this role, the ideal candidate will be supervising a team of Social Workers. The position requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Provides verbal and written formative and summative evaluations to supervisees.
Assesses supervisees' clinical performance on a long-term basis and makes recommendations for or against credentialing process.
Monitors client welfare by debriefing, educating and coaching supervisees.
Ensures compliance with relevant legal, ethical and professional standards for clinical practice.
Performs patient screenings and assessments; provides counseling, information, referrals and skills training; crisis management; care coordination and follow-up.
The ideal candidate will have:
Master's degree in Clinical Social Work preferred.
Maine state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker required.
