A Sr. Financial Analyst who plays a lead role in WSS Lifecycle Services Finance team to support Services Product business teams with the focus on New Services Offering enablement and Capital Optimization strategic framework. This role partners closely with Sr. business managers and their staff as a trusted financial advisor to establish a sound business case and to ensure e2e new business model enablement, including quote-to-cash and revenue recognition compliance. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.
Responsibilities:
Work on Special Projects which may involve internal and external teams.
Close collaborations with Market and CO Services Execution Finance teams regarding new services offerings to ensure a smooth transition and execution.
Leads business initiatives, typically coordinating analysts across multiple sub-functions within finance.
Responsibilities will not be limited to management of projects, but may include end to end process of the project such as developing strategy, framework, preparation and planning, execution and delivery, and relationship management with stakeholders
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design
Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross- functional planning processes.
Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts while leading a project
Education and Experience Required:
First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferred
Typically 10+ years of experience as a financial analyst
Typically experienced in a variety of finance functions, including external or internal audit
Ideally start-up or entrepreneurship experience
Experienced in process improvement and compliance process implementation
Strategic project management experience in both long term and short term projects, and from the project design phase to the delivery and the closure
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.

Executive presentation experience with good command of presentation skills (developing presentation from scratch based on the required topic for executive level audience) are essential for this role
