Law Clerk

The Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates, PC is seeking a tenacious, well-rounded Law Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a 2L or 3L or awaiting bar results. The ideal candidate will possess strong time-management, organization, and writing skills, as the Law Clerk will assist attorneys in handling a high volume of personal injury cases.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting practicing attorneys with case management
• Conducting research and discovery for assigned cases
• Participating in the drafting of legal research and motions
• Strictly adhere to ethical standards, including those concerning confidential communications

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school or recent graduate
• Law review, judicial extern/internships, TA position a plus
• Strong research, oral, and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to discuss complex information in detail
• Ability and willingness to take on a variety of new tasks in a fast-paced environment, and adapt and change the priority of tasks as needed
• Previous law firm experience is a plus, but not required
