JOB PURPOSE:

Must currently be enrolled as a student at Lewis & Clark Law School.

Law clerks provide legal research and writing services for attorneys in BPA's Office of General Counsel in one or more of the following four sections: Power (e.g., power sales contract drafting, implementation and litigation, Ninth Circuit litigation, administrative rate setting, renewable energy and climate change issues); Transmission (e.g., federal energy law, transmission contracts, tariff compliance, and generator interconnection and renewable energy integration issues); General Law (e.g., finance, torts, employment, and procurement); and Natural Resources (e.g., environmental, lands and natural resources issues).

PREREQUISITES FOR ELIGIBILITY

  • In order to apply for this position, you must be a first and second year day and evening student (Top 50% of class).

SCHEDULE:

  • Summer 2024 and or School Year 2024-25. Schedule to be determined by Bonneville Power Administration.

RATE OF PAY:

  • $25.51 per hour
