Laundry Plant Manager
Department: Community Reintegration Center
Full-time, Salary
Salary Range: $62,836.80 - $72,779.20/yr
Job Summary: Manages the Textile Services Division at the Community Reintegration Center for the benefit of all user institutions. Operates the laundry for maximum efficiency, textile and equipment life, and develop resident work culture in all aspects of the operation. Promotes regulatory compliance, safety, adherence to procedures, teamwork and completing work to a certain standard by the deadline.
Schedule: Work schedule is 3am-11am or 4am-12pm, Monday-Friday. Occasional weekends are required.
Essential Responsibilities
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; ability to push and pull cart/pallet loads up to 750 lbs.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Education, License/Certification and Experience
Current residency within the State of Wisconsin upon application required
Valid Wisconsin Driver's License required and must be maintained throughout incumbency
High School Diploma, GED or equivalency required
Three (3) years or more of work experience in industrial, commercial or institutional textile (cloth/woven fabric) processing required
One (1) year or more of work experience in a Supervisory or Management role required
Basic knowledge of all related computer and software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams required
Preferred Education, License/Certification and Experiences
Association for Linen Management (ALM) or International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA) certification or registration preferred
Previous work experience with OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standards preferred
