General Summary of Duties:
Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of laundry equipment, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing any equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and ensure high-quality laundry function.
Examples of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following):
Perform routine maintenance tasks on laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, ironers, folding machines, and steam boilers.
Inspect equipment regularly to identify any potential issues and address them promptly.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as needed.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems in laundry equipment.
Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs when necessary.

Position Requirements:
Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment
3 years preferred experience in a commercial laundry or similar environment
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Certification in equipment maintenance and repair (optional but preferred).
Ability to take direction, questions, and instructions from supervisor, management and co-workers
Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions
Education:
High school education or equivalent required.
Trade apprenticeship preferred.
