Patriot Family Homes is a fully integrated short-term rental company proudly Veteran-owned and operated. We are currently headquartered in Chattanooga, TN, but also have many remote and travel roles, as well as field teams that include W-2 and 1099 team members who live in the markets where our houses are located across the Southeast, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Southwest. We currently have 60 employees who manage a portfolio of over 550 short-term rentals.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a full-time position whose key responsibilities will include efficiently sorting, loading, and unloading washing machines and dryers throughout the day. Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in conducting daily inspections of equipment to maintain top-notch performance. Additionally, you will play a vital role in assembling linen packs, ensuring they are prepared for timely delivery to each home to welcome our incoming guests. As a Hospitality Service Professional, you are a key member of the team. You are self-motivated, dependable, and have a great attitude. This position can be very rewarding for people who take pride in their work, work as a team, and like to stay busy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working with Market Manager for scheduled soiled laundry pickup

• Sorting linens and towels by type

• Ability to find and treat saints before washing

• Loading and unloading commercial laundry machines safely and following proper sanitation protocols

• Folding and making packs per bed sizes and properties

• Cleaning and maintaining laundry room area and equipment

• Stocking laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags and fabric softener

• Communicate with customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner

• Tracking time spent through mobile applications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Good customer service skills when handling requests

• Physical stamina when remaining stationary for extended periods and moving laundry loads

• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks throughout each shift

• Basic math skills for calculating laundry times and counting change for coin-operated machines

• Attention to detail when sorting items and handling fabrics

• Problem-solving skills for addressing issues and complaints

• Capable of working variable hours with a diverse team in a remote work environment

• Adept at learning new platforms; experience using STR platforms a plus

Education and Experience:

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is a plus

• Positive Attitude

• Team player who can work independently

Logistics and Benefits:

• Able to start ASAP ~3 weeks

• Hourly rate depends on the candidate's experience level and fit.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Rate: $15.00 - $18.00
