Laundry Aide Responsibilities

• Receive processed linens from contracted service

• Count and deliver linens daily to assigned linen closets

• Sort, wash and dry soiled personal clothing

• Hang and fold personal clothing in preparation for delivery

• Deliver personal clothing to resident rooms

• Label clothing as needed

• Handle infectious laundry using Universal Precautions

• Clean laundry room and sorting/soiled linen tubs

• Maintain chemical levels related to washing machines

Laundry Aide Qualifications
