DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes related to product launch in industrial plant

Coordinate sales, product engineering, and manufacturing teams to meet customer's timeline of launch programs.

Attend gate reviews and maintain reporting of launch phase activities.

Coordinate all APQP activities and assist with the preparation of all PPAP documentation where needed.

Develops and evaluates manufacturing capacity, and methods, used for new product launch.

Recommends new equipment and manpower needs for new products.

May be given certain authority within job scope by Manager

Each employee has the authority to initiate action to prevent a violation of the Federal-Mogul Integrity Policy.

Capable of providing support as requested by supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree from four-year accredited college or university in a related engineering field; or 4 or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Six Sigma Certification is preferred.

Experience and education must be related to manufacturing, industrial, electrical, mechanical, or similarly related field. Experience working in a high speed manufacturing environment is highly preferred. Must have basic understanding of metal stamping/tooling.Experience with product launch or new product introduction required.

VIEW JOBS 1/20/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-04-19T00:00 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide technical service and immediate attention to the customers, to ensure the CSR are implemented, maintained and adhered to in such a manner as to ensure that customer expectations are met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): Active participation in Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) as voice of the customers in assigned areas. Act as Customer liaison. Communicate containment and corrective actions to the customer using the applicable method (i.e. G8Ds, PRR, NCT, eCIMS, SCAR, F-M TiPS). Coordinate special containment activities at the customer site and follow up on results until permanent corrective action validation. Initiate and lead a cross-functional team to effectively identify root cause analysis on all external problems. Conduct corrective action follow-up, as well as lessons learned read-across on similar processes/products. Analyzing and summarizing warranty data and manage warranty portals. Daily review of Customer specific websites (Covisint, GM Supply Power, Chrysler eSupplier Connect, PLEX). Identity and report discrepancies in a timely manner. Daily review and update of quality QMIs system. Active participation on Internal, Customer and IATF16949 Audits. Lead customer Audits and visits. Conduct corrective action follow-up after a customer audit. Visit customers plants on a regular basis and manage F-M representatives at customers locations. Must have IATF 16949 experience. A thorough understanding of core tools and Specific Customer Requirements. Minitab Statistical Software Preferred but not Required. Must have a thorough understanding of problem solving methodologies (G8D, PRR, 7 Step, 3L5W, Deep Drill and Wide). Must be familiar with Microsoft computer platforms and software. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to train/teach others.
