Laser/Waterjet Operator

Job Description Job Description PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR RESUME SMALL METAL FABRICATION SHOP LOOKING FOR LASER/WATERJET OPERATOR JOB DESCRIPTION The operator is responsible for the daily setup and operation of CNC laser and/or waterjet cutting machines. They will assist any other operators in their daily duties and provide help in other areas as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform daily startup and shutdown procedures Load and unload machines manually or with assistance of forklift Select and set up proper tooling and/or lenses based on material type and thickness Keep work area clean, organized and free of debris Facilitate work order paper flow and document actions by completing work orders, production logs and quality sheets Perform 1st article and in process inspections Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed SCHEDULE 8-hour shift EXPERIENCE Laser operation: 1 year (required) Waterjet operation: 1 year (preferred) PAY Dependent on experience BENEFITS Medical / Dental / Life insurance (eligible after 90 days) State mandated sick leave (eligible after 90 days) Vacation pay (eligible after 90 days) Holiday pay (eligible after 90 days) 401(k) retirement (eligible after 6 months) Christmas bonus TO APPLY Please submit your resume Applications received without a resume will not be considered
