This role is for our second shift and the required hours will tentatively be between 4pm-2:30am, with the potential for overtime and pay differential. If for whatever reason you transfer from 2nd shift to 1st shift, you will forfeit the pay differential of $2.00 an hour
A. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Perform typical laser and welding operations.
2.Select proper welding programs, and proper fixtures.
3.Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point.
4.Make proper set-ups for welding operations.
5.Perform prescribed maintenance as required.
6.Perform all dimensional inspections.
7.Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
8.May work at different workstations as production needs require.
B. Education Required:
1.High school diploma or GED.
C. Experience Required:
1.Training in general safety, electrostatic discharge awareness, foreign object damage, awareness and quality system awareness.
2.Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
