Position Description

In the role of Laser Tracker, your primary task will involve the allocation of labor hours to relevant jobs through the Labor Ticket entry system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpretation of job specifications outlined in the QA job folder provided by the Lead Inspector
  • Execution of necessary Build support or QA functions based on job sequencing, TIR, and quality blueprint
  • Completion of the TIR (Tool Inspection Record) or similar documentation as provided by the customer
  • Initiation of any tool tagging resulting from inspection activities (In Process or Non-conformance)
  • Assistance to Lead Inspectors, as needed, during customer buy-off procedures
  • Maintenance of Laser Tracker equipment essential for job execution
  • Adherence to Document and Data control protocols for the creation, upkeep, and finalization of all electronic inspection records
  • Compliance with relevant QMS procedures and operational instructions
  • Adherence to OSHA safety regulations and ITAR guidelines
  • Fulfillment of other assigned tasks

Required Skills

  • Capability to work autonomously with clear written and verbal instructions
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Effective written and verbal communication aptitude
  • Comprehensive understanding of GD&T / FT&A principles
  • Proficiency in reading master blueprints

Experience

  • 3 years of experience in tooling
  • 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance
