Job Summary

This position will monitor and maintain the physical and environmental conditions of animals both large and small in a research or clinical setting. Feed, water, groom, bathe, exercise, and provide other types of care to ensure animal welfare. Administer medications, evaluate the general condition of animals, and collect and record data. Clean and maintain animal environments; order and stock supplies; follow approved protocols and standard operating procedures. May perform occasional euthanasia of animals.

Required:

  • High school diploma/GED

  • Experience handling horses

  • Ability to perform occasional euthanasia of animals

Additional Information:

  • Standard hours are 8 am - 5 pm; possibility of some weekend hours

  • Purdue will not sponsor employment authorization for this position

  • A background check will be required for employment in this position

  • FLSA: Non-Exempt (Eligible For Overtime)

Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a material handler at our facility located in Shelbyville, IN Your Responsibilities: * Operating Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) in a safe and responsible manner. * Unload trucks containing, paper rolls, cut-sheet paper, ink, and manufacturing supplies. * Complete inventory transactions for receiving and storage functions. * Anticipate the raw-material needs of printing presses. Deliver materials to presses to assure uninterrupted operation of the press. * Ensures that adequate production supplies are available to Production (cartons, shims, etc.) Your Shift: * Sunday-Friday 11:00pm-7:00am You Must Have: * 1 - 2 years' previous experience in a manufacturing environment. * Must be computer literate to enter data into inventory systems. * Good verbal communication skills are necessary to interact with press operators and other staff to complete assignments. * Ability to meet the physical demands of the position. * Ability to follow detailed instructions concerning job specifications. * Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication. * Ability to read a ruler.
