POSITION: Construction Management Technology Adjunct Instructor/Part-time
Hall County Campus
REPORTS TO: Dean of Applied Technology & Transportation
SALARY RANGE: Based on education and experience
EFFECTIVE: August 15th, 2024
RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision:
Develops program and course outlines, goals and objectives
Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for credited Constructions Management Technology courses
Evaluates students' progress in attaining goals and objectives
Maintains program certification requirements, as appropriate
Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports
Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the training area
Meets with students, staff members to review progress of the students
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree in Construction Management Technology or closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university, and three (3) years of related work experience. Must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the courses assigned. Ability to work flexible hours as needed.

Skill to work and communicate cooperatively with students, faculty, and staff
Ability to handle administrative responsibilities related to teaching of courses, data collection, and reporting for license agency, accreditation agencies, and the College.
Skill in the operation of computers and job-related software programs
Effective oral and written communication skills, decision-making and problem-solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (in addition to minimum & technical competencies):
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management Technology or closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university
NCCER certification
Prior teaching experience in a post-secondary environment
Knowledge of Blackboard (Learning Management System)
