Language Laboratory Manager (Part-Time)

The Language Lab Manager organizes language-specific events, curates and maintains materials that enhance classroom learning (digital, print, other media), maintains the software that students use for classroom activities, and the global learning classroom, and works to provide an immersive, interactive language-learning experience. The Lab manager also assists faculty create career-enhancing opportunities related to language-learning that benefit students paying lab fees: trainings on translation, workshops/career talks, the purchase of equipment, apps and software that supports language and culture-learning, and other enrichment opportunities. The duties will also include scheduling and supervising GTAs, maintaining the equipment, scheduling special activities such as lab tests, and placement exams.
