A brighter future is in your hands. We're currently seeking a Crew Leader. The Crew Leader will be responsible for executing site level tasks on BrightView's client sites. The crew leader will direct the work of 2-5 other employees and ensure assigned tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the quality standards set by BrightView and BrightView's clients. Crew Leaders will oversee crews working in varying service lines including basic maintenance, landscape installation, and supportive services like irrigation, seasonal color management, and chemical applications.

What you'll do:

  • Maintain a schedule and ensure service expectations are met

  • Surface customer problems or concerns and report back to Production Manager

  • Proactively assist in resolving issues with customer service when needed

  • Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies

  • Communicate regularly with Production Manager to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded

  • Deliver services as specified on client sites

  • Work to identify more efficient ways to perform work

  • Coordinate service execution with Production Manager

  • Oversee day to day site operations and delegate work to crew team members

  • Provide Production Manager feedback on crew member(s)

  • Working with Production Manager, help to develop and train crew members

  • Ensure equipment preventative maintenance is performed as needed and equipment is in good working order

  • Participate in branch meetings as directed

  • Accurately capture and turn in crew time logs

  • Log equipment usage and maintenance cycles

  • Other tasks and duties as assigned by Branch Leadership

Skills we're seeking:

  • 5+ year degree preferred or equivalent experience in a landscape-related field

VIEW JOBS 9/7/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-12-06T00:00 Primary Responsibilities: * Oversee all daily functions in one of the following disciplines: Aquatics, Guest Arrival, Rides, or Park Quality. * Develop and monitor the labor and expense department budgets and provide guidance to the Park Operations Senior Leader regarding changes & challenges. * Participate in Park and department Duty Manager rotations. * Train, coach and develop team members and supervisory team while ensuring proper training and development in accordance with SEA guidelines. * Update when necessary, Standard Operating Guidelines, training materials and forms. * Conduct safety audits within the department. * Implement line schedules based on attendance levels. * Work to achieve established goals for assigned operations metrics. * Work in other areas of the park as needed to support park operations. * Consistently practices and enforce safe work habits including but not limited to use of personal protective equipment, lifting, driving, and reporting of unsafe situations. * Maintain SEA and park standards with regards to safety, quality, service, special events, show schedules and other department goals. * Monitor theme park industry and maintain Sesame Place, SEA, and industry standards. * Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements and Competencies: * High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred. * Must have three (3) to five (5) years operational experience leading teams theme park experience preferred. * Able to manage and accomplish multiple projects with attention to detail. Goal oriented and highly motivated; able to work with a diverse team; possess the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. * Possess a broad understanding of business principles and applications. * Demonstrate ability to be flexible, adaptable and supportive of process improvements. * Possess customer service skills including the ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints from team members and/or guests. * Possess the ability to calculate financial metrics and amounts such as discounts, proportions and percentages. * Have a working ability of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and Power Point. * Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, early mornings, evenings and holidays. * Must be willing to comply with all grooming standards and SEA standards. * Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timeline * American Red Cross CPR trained preferred Seaworld Parks Langhorne PA
