Landscaper

TPG is seeking a motivated and reliable Landscaper for a national tire company in San Angelo, TX. The Landscaper is a semi-skilled position that works directly with a variety of staff members to ensure the facilities are maintained properly, in a professional and scheduled manner.

Landscaper Primary Responsibilities:

• This position has the responsibility to keep the grounds clean and safe.

• May require maintenance work on facility equipment when needed.

• Must be in good physical condition to perform his/her job duties.

• Must have at least a high school diploma or GED equivalent and be capable of reading and writing the English language.

• Must be able to follow directions and perform work duties with limited supervision.

• Must possess the training and experience to safely and effectively use the tools and equipment that they have available and he/she must be able to operate the equipment on their own performing the job functions required.

• Will need to use various ground maintenance machines such as lawn mowing and trimming equipment, earth moving equipment, general hand tools, both powered and non-powered, etc.

• The ability to read and understand English is very important to ensure that all safety and warning instructions are understood as well as being able to recognize what to do in case of an emergency.

• Will be required to perform general facility maintenance assignments like replacing light bulbs, HVAC filters, etc., for the tenants of the facility.

• Maintain mechanical equipment such as overhead door operators and the maintenance of various facility property items.

• Will be responsible for the removal of trash, moving furniture and completing various other jobs that can be handled within this position qualification.

• Responsible for mowing the grass, trimming the bushes, replanting landscape foliage when needed or performing any other type of landscaping work as required by the property owners.

• Responsible for minor repairs to maintenance equipment and will also be responsible to ensuring that maintenance equipment assigned to this position will be routinely inspected to prevent major damage.

This position will have a variety of responsibilities that will encompass a wide arena of qualifications and expertise. Personal safety while operating equipment and performing work assignments must be exercised at all times.

Responsible care and maintenance of customer property entrusted to this position will be expected at all times.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
