Landscaper

Our Landscapers are responsible for the maintenance and appearance of our 20+ acre facility and property including but not limited to lawn, flower beds, parking lots, patios, and shop.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following.

• Mowing (push mower and rider), trimming, blowing, and weeding lawn

• Planting, weeding, and upkeep of flower beds

• Pruning trees and shrubs

• Monitor all tools, equipment and machinery for needed maintenance

• Track and record all job expenses and hours worked accurately

• Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times

• Other duties as required.

Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience with landscaping. Commercial landscaping preferred.

• Current valid driver's license & dependable vehicle.

• Proficient heavy equipment operating skills, including riding lawn mower

• Extensive knowledge and experience in installing a variety of hardscape applications

• Knowledge of perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees

• Highly motivated, self-driven individual who is detail orientated

• Excellent attention to detail while working in a fun & fast paced environment

• Strong verbal & written communication skills

• Good time management skills; be available for seasonal long hours & weekends- Especially in inclement weather.

• Ability to prioritize and multi-task

• Able to work effectively with individuals of differing knowledge and background (i.e. clients, contractors, vendors, other designers)

• Punctual and dependable- including being willing to be on call.

• Must be able to talk, hear, sit, walk, type, and write.

• Must be capable of lifting 75 lbs. on a regular basis.
