JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Office of Physical Plant (OPP) is seeking a Landscape Supervisor (Facilities Supervisor 3) responsible for the supervision and management of a crew that is responsible for landscape construction projects, the care and management for the Universities tree resources, and snow/ice removal.

This position will:
Hire, supervise, train, and evaluate assigned technical-service and temporary employees
Develop work schedules
Administer Union-University Agreement and human resources procedures and policies
Make recommendations concerning modifications in manpower, material, or equipment and maintain control of materials, vehicles, and other University property
Ensure safe working conditions
Organize/conduct training programs
Education and experience:
Typically requires an associate degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A degree and strong experience in arboriculture and/or landscape contracting is preferred. A Pennsylvania Public Pesticide Applicator Certification is required.

The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
