Landscape Irrigation Technician

Job Overview:

As an Irrigation Technician, you will be instrumental in maintaining, repairing, and installing various irrigation systems. Your role will involve hands-on work and the application of technical skills in irrigation management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, adjustments, and repairs of irrigation systems using hand tools.

• Install new irrigation systems as per requirements.

• Interpret blueprints and use appropriate methods for laying, removing, or repairing irrigation components.

• Troubleshoot and repair low voltage underground irrigation wiring and lighting systems.

• Manage inventory of parts, tools, and equipment, placing orders as necessary.

• Adhere to safety rules and regulations.

• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the company truck.

• Accurate reporting and record-keeping of work completed.

• Efficient routing and timely completion of daily tasks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintaining and repairing irrigation systems.

• Proficient in plumbing, pipe fitting, and using hand/power tools.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• High School Diploma/GED, supplemented by relevant training.

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record.

• Strong communication skills and client-oriented approach.

• Ability to work independently and complete tasks within assigned timelines.
