Landscape Installation Department ManagerOur Client has been servicing the Bucks and Montgomery Counties for over 20 years providing full-service design/build landscape and hardscape project solutions. They are looking to hire a Department Manager who can drive the business forward and improve overall quality, profitability, and operations.The person will work directly with the sales team, project managers, and foreman on a daily basis to oversee and run the production of 5-7 construction crews (25 people).Responsibilities within this position include material procurement and shipping, coordination of labor and equipment, quality control, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This person should be self-motivated, dependable, and have a great ability to work with other team members and clients.This position requires the ability to manage multiple projects, and understand all phases of landscape and hardscape construction from small to large design and installation. They must have general knowledge of plants, landscape lighting, segmented walls, patios masonry stone walls, and veneers. This is a leadership position to run a $3.5mm department.Each project is different with 75% residential, 25% commercial, and 50% Softscape/ 50% Hardscape. The average job ranges from 20-35k with some going over $100k.Requirements:

• Experience managing multiple Project Managers and Projects simultaneously
• Ability to manage Revenue, Costs, and Profit Margins
• Ability to plan ahead for labor, equipment, and material needs per project
• A minimum of 5 years of field experience with landscape and hardscape design & construction
• Proficient in design/ build construction
• Experience with backyard environments everything from patios, pools, masonry, porches, decks, pavers, planting, grading, and drainage
• Green industry experience
• Proficient computer skills including Excel and Word

Compensation:

• Base pay is $80-90K plus a bonus, based on experience
