Job Title: Landscape/Groundkeeper

Pay: $20.00 / hour

Schedule: Part-Time, Monday-Friday, 8am - 12pm

We are seeking a part-time Landscape/Groundkeeper to be responsible for all aspects of the grounds and the equipment used to maintain the appearance of a presentable ground.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assures that the grounds are well‐groomed and free of trash, debris, and hazards.

• Assures that walkways are clean and clear of hazards.

• Trims, prunes, and shapes various trees, bushes, shrubs, and plants, as directed by the supervisor.

• Responsible for snow removal efforts during the winter months.

• Maintains outside water lines and equipment, as necessary.

Other Duties:

• Maintains the appearance of outdoor signs, parking lot lines, center road lines and direction‐ of‐travel indicators.

• Maintains all mowers, snow blowers, and other outdoor vehicles and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Nursery schooling background preferred.

• 3 years hands on experience in landscape maintenance.

• Greenskeeper experience a plus.

• Ability to safely use hand and power landscaping tools and equipment.

• Ability to cut golf greens, dig, plant trees/scrubs, prune and maintain curb appeal of property.

• Ability to monitor and supervise outside landscaping company and communicate problems or issues to supervisor.

• Ability to monitor weather conditions and lead snow/ice removal efforts to maintain sage conditions.

• Ability to work weekends/nights as needed.
