As the Landscape Designer for Level Green Landscaping, you will be responsible for having a
firm understanding of Landscape Architecture or Design. You will work with our Account
Management and Business Development teams to conceptualize and bring to fruition ideas for
the improvement of the landscapes our company maintains as well as for properties we are
trying to sell as new work. Understanding the phases of the landscape design and construction
process is important. The Landscape Designer will utilize a combination of their horticultural
knowledge as well as their strong graphic design experience to provide clear and concise
designs that are easily understandable to clients and that will help them achieve their business
goals. The designer will collaborate with the company’s account managers to continually
improve the properties we maintain through innovative designs which enhance sites and solve
problems for our customers.
Requirements
Your responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the account managers to enhance our brand so that our designs enhance our brand and drive profitable revenue growth amongst all branch locations.
- Possess excellent communication, design, technical, graphic and visualization skills.
- Work with Account Managers in multiple branches to ensure that the clients understand the conceptual designs. This enhances our mission of providing excellent customer service.
- Create 3D and perspective renderings.
- Have familiarity with plant materials used effectively within Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
- Traveling to project sites throughout our service area to perform site inventory and analysis.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We are Seeking:
- A minimum of three or more (3+) years of Landscape Architecture or Design experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Familiarity with the following design software: Pro Landscaping, Vector Works (CAD), Photoshop, IN Design, Nscape, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Suite
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong people skills to positively interact with clients and co-workers.
- Ability to collaborate with management and leadership.
- Strong background in various design technology.
- Experience effectively presenting conceptual designs to clients in a personable manner.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and organizational skills.
- Computer Skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
