As a successful Landscape Design Salesperson, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying and securing new clients for our landscape design services. You will be responsible for cultivating relationships, understanding client needs, and presenting tailored design solutions that align with their vision and budget.

Key Responsibilities for Landscape Design Salesperson:

• Proactively prospect and generate leads through networking, referrals, and additional outreach efforts.
• Conduct initial consultations with potential clients to understand their landscaping needs, preferences, and budgetary requirements.
• Collaborate closely with your team to implement your design vision and develop innovative, customized landscape design proposals.
• Present design concepts and proposals to clients, effectively communicating the value and benefits of our services.
• Understanding product availability is essential for meeting deadlines for job completion.
• Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements with clients, ensuring a mutual understanding of project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Demonstrating previous success in achieving sales metrics.
• Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients throughout the project lifecycle, serving as their primary point of contact and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities for business growth.

Qualifications:

• Sales experience is required, preferably in the landscaping, horticulture, or construction industry.
• Demonstrated success in prospecting, lead generation, and client acquisition.
• Knowledge of landscaping principles, plant materials, and construction techniques is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
• Creative mindset with a passion for landscape design and outdoor living spaces.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to exceed sales targets and achieve results.
• Horticulture certification is highly preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Horticulture, or related field is a plus!
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
