Landscape Architect

Description:

The Landscape Architect will provide a range of engagement for Landscape Design and Development projects. They will join a collaborative Landscape Design team that specializes in a variety of landscape and land development projects including: commercial development/private development, municipality, education/schools, healthcare, athletic facilities, streetscapes, and others. They will be involved in design production and planning, public engagement, client interaction, and site analysis and review.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary design team to create design packages for development projects

• Create design plans with CAD programs for projects that include site layout, zoning, grading, and drainage

• Develop and prepare landscape plans, schematic design, site plans, construction drawings / construction specifications / construction documents, and site analysis

• Provide oversight and analyze data / conditions at project sites involving drainage, grading, site layout, and zoning

• Communication and interaction with design team, engineers, client representatives, and public agency engagement

Skills:

• Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering

• 5+ years of Landscape Design or Civil Design in CAD 3D program

• Experience in Landscape Design for commercial development, municipality, education / schools

• Design production of technical drawings and specifications for zoning, grading, site layout, drainage, and construction details
